What is a zine?A zine is a self-published collection of fanart (and, in some cases, fanfiction) in book form, created by and for fans.
Is this zine digital or physical?The zine is fully digital. It will be released as a free PDF to the public along with digital merch.
Is this zine for profit or for charity?
The zine is a free, non-profit release.
What content will be allowed in this zine?
This zine is Safe for Work, with absolutely no NSFW or 18+ content included. However, canon-relevant violence is allowed.
Who can apply?
All contributor applicants must be over the age of 16 at the time of applying.
Do I need previous zine experience?
No previous experience is required! Feel free to apply whether this is your first zine or tenth.
How will contributors be compensated?
Due to the zines digital & free status, no compensation will be provided (physical or monetary). However, contributors are guaranteed all digital products from the project.
How many contributors will be accepted?
We are currently looking to accept 36 page artists, 5 merch artists, and 3 poets. More details about contributor guidelines and expectations can be found Here.
Is this project associated with the Official Epic team?
No, this is a completely fanmade, unofficial artbook, with no ties to the official Epic team.

Guidelines
All applicants must be 16 years of age or older at the time of application.
Applicants may apply for more than one position, but we cannot guarantee that they will be accepted for multiple positions.
All submissions must be the applicants’ own work. If it is found that you have copied/stolen someone else's work or used AI, you will be immediately disqualified.
Google folders are preferred, but please make sure link sharing is on, so that we can properly view your samples. You can check by opening the link in an incognito browser. Samples that do not have link sharing turned on will not be considered.
Applications that do not fit our guidelines will not be considered.
PAGE ARTIST GUIDELINES
This zine is accepting 36 page artists.Applicants can choose to be considered for a Single-Page, Spread (2-Pages), or Comic (1-4 Pages) role, but will only be accepted for one.
On the form, applicants will have the opportunity to list the top sagas they would like to create for. While we will try our best, we cannot guarantee everyone will get their top choices.
Requirements:
Three samples in the quality and style you would use in the zine.
A link to a portfolio including 5 or more pieces (Google Drive folder, Website, etc.). This can include your three samples.
At least one sample must have a full background.
At least one sample must be in full color.
At least one mythology-related piece is highly recommended, but not required.
If marked to be considered for Comic, examples of past comic work are highly recommended, but not required.
Applicants will be judged by anatomy, color-choice, and composition. Please note that follower counts will not be considered - acceptance will depend solely on your samples and ability to follow the guidelines above.
MERCH ARTIST GUIDELINES
This zine is accepting 5 merch artists.
Applicants will be expected to make 1-2 digital merch pieces, such as wallpapers, emotes, digital stickers, and more.
Requirements:
Three samples in the quality and style you would use in the zine.
A link to a portfolio including 5 or more pieces (Google Drive folder, Website, etc.). This can include your three samples.
At least one sample must be a merch-related design. Digital Mockups are perfectly fine.
At least one sample must be in full color.
At least one mythology-related piece is highly recommended, but not required.
Applicants will be judged by anatomy, silhouettes, and color-choice. Please note that follower counts will not be considered - acceptance will depend solely on your samples and ability to follow the guidelines above.
POET GUIDELINES
This zine is accepting 3 poets.
Applicants will be expected to make 3 poems, each for a different saga.
On the form, applicants will have the opportunity to list the top sagas they would like to create for. While we will try our best, we cannot guarantee everyone will get their top choices.
Requirements:
Three samples in the quality and style you would write for the zine. Each sample should be no longer than 1,500 words.
A link to a portfolio (Google Drive folder, Website, etc.) with 5 or more pieces. This can include your three samples.
At least one sample must be a poem.
At least one mythology-related piece is highly recommended, but not required.
Applicants will be judged by writing style and grammar. Please note that follower counts will not be considered - acceptance will depend solely on your samples and ability to follow the guidelines above.
